About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Assistant at Harrow Council. As a key member of our school office team, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions, including invoices and payments, in accordance with school financial procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including stock management and ordering.
  • Assist the Business Manager with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Manager, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of financial management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
