Community Fundraising Specialist

About the Role
Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Community Fundraiser to join its successful fundraising team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing fundraising relationships in the community, providing excellent stewardship to increase income and deliver the charity's community fundraising strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Charity in the community and communicate effectively with supporters.
- Develop fundraising products and cultivate supporters to achieve targets and budgets.
- Work with external agencies and build relationships within the team and across the organisation's functions.
- Provide excellent stewardship and communicate clearly and appropriately to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Significant working experience in the Charity sector.
- Excellent skills in building relationships with potential donors and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to plan, manage time and prioritise own workload with minimum supervision.
- High standard of computer literacy and ability to work with a donor management database.
- Ability to deal with fundraisers' personal information in a sensitive and confidential manner.
