Job Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in East Anglia, providing budget control for a mix of triple tenure sites.

The role involves general project coordination and administration, preparation and negotiation of initial site budgets, subcontract procurement and obtaining risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation from subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake site visits and inspections and coordinate these with management and subcontractors on site.
  • Carry out Subcontract payments; variation claims and final account settlements.
  • Liaise with other departments and external consultants in respect of cost issues.
  • Issue interim payment applications to RSL Partners.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential housebuilding sector.
  • Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field;
  • Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with construction contracts, current building regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proactivity: Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
