The company produces biofuels and renewable energy, as well as providing services for farming and the food industry.

We are seeking an Operative to work at our SPF (UK) Ltd site in Doncaster. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 42 hours of work per week, with flexible shifts available.

As an Operative, duties will include:

  • Operating the Digest cooker according to production schedules and standard operating procedures.
  • Working in a fast-paced continuous production environment.
  • Manual handling of 25kg bags of raw material on a daily basis.
  • Unloading and loading tankers and trailers.
  • Inspecting incoming raw materials and packaging for quality.
  • Inspecting outgoing materials and finished products for quality, reporting any discrepancies to the Operations Manager or Team Leader.
  • Supervising the entire process, including quality checks.
  • Completing HACCP documentation.
  • Performing basic computer tasks.
  • Maintaining hygiene standards set by SPF.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and SARIA Site Policy.
  • Conducting general housekeeping duties and other tasks as required by Management.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing setting, be proactive, motivated, and have a positive attitude towards work. They should also possess good communication skills and knowledge of workplace Health and Safety.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Estimated annual salary: £28,000 - £30,000 based on 42 hours of work per week.
