At SoftwareONE, we're driving innovation and efficiency across our global organization. To achieve this, we're seeking a talented Cloud Data Architect to join our IT & Solutions team.

The Role

As a key member of our Data & Analytics team, you'll be responsible for crafting data architecture strategies and standards that align with our vision and strategy. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise and Solution Architects, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and documenting data architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Designing and recording data models, elements, and flows.
  • Ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.
  • Supporting data access and usage across the organization.
  • Improving internal data assets with external sources.
  • Supervising and improving data architecture performance.

What We Need to See from You

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture and integration, including data modeling, data security, and data analytics.
  • A deep understanding of data architecture patterns for transactional and analytical data.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms (Azure, AWS), SQL, ETL, API, and other data integration tools and techniques.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data architectures and integrations for various data domains.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A business-proficient level of English.
  • Passion, curiosity, and enthusiasm for data and its value for the business.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Planning and coordination skills, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and agile environment.
