Job Title: Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity in the CAMHS Unit, Bury, Greater Manchester.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mental Health Nursing and proven experience in assessing mental health and risk, managing crises, and de-escalating challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage mental health and risk in young patients
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapies and manage challenging behaviors
  • Provide skilled care and support to young patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
  • Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Valid NMC Registration
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and physical health monitoring for young patients
  • Ability to build trust and therapeutic relationships with young patients and their families
