About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Nursing Assistant to join our team at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. As a key member of our patient care journey, you will work closely with our nursing teams to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the nursing team in delivering patient care, following direction by a Registered Healthcare Practitioner.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of theatres, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to patients and families.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Completed the National Care Certificate if relevant.
  • Level 3 Vocational Qualification (NVQ or Apprenticeship) in clinical healthcare.
  • Able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skill, and competency to undertake band 3 clinical skills.
