We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Manager – Hydrogen to join our team at SEFE Marketing & Trading Ltd. As a key member of our Hydrogen project team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an up-to-date, forward-looking view of relevant regulations.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the energy sector and decarbonisation regulations and policies in Germany and Europe, as well as key regulatory bodies, directives, and priorities. You will also have solid experience interacting with energy policymakers, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and subsidy scheme operators in Germany and Europe, along with a network of contacts.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date, forward-looking view of relevant regulations.
  • Assess the latest regulatory developments and derive implications for specific H2 projects and the overall H2 ambition and strategy.
  • Provide regulatory support, guidance, and best practices to Hydrogen project teams and the wider organisation to ensure compliance with Hydrogen-related regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • An excellent understanding of the energy sector and decarbonisation regulations and policies in Germany and Europe, as well as key regulatory bodies, directives, and priorities.
  • Solid experience interacting with energy policymakers, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and subsidy scheme operators in Germany and Europe, along with a network of contacts.
  • Experience and readiness to work in an international environment, including regular business travel within and outside Germany.
