English Teacher Opportunity for SEN Students

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at a Secondary SEN school in Andover. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and a proven track record of adapting lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach GCSE English to pupils with additional needs, utilizing a nurturing and structured environment that fosters both academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with the school's supportive staff to deliver the best outcomes for students, adapting lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils with SEND.
  • Provide a flexible and compassionate approach, with strong behavior management skills, to support students with special educational needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience teaching GCSE English is required, with a proven track record of adapting lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils with SEND.
