English Teacher Opportunity at a Renowned SEN School

We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our team at a highly regarded Secondary SEN School in Andover. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a small school with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality education and support to pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning needs and promote positive outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the school's team to provide a supportive and structured learning environment
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring each pupil is supported to achieve their full potential
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
  • Experience teaching GCSE English
  • Prior experience working with students with special educational needs in a teaching or support role
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of SEND pupils
