Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will contribute to building a risk-based set of cyber security requirements for a system or sub system, providing technical guidance and support for all aspects of cyber security and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting cyber security analysis work, developing threat taxonomies, security architectures, security baselines and risk mitigations.
- Assisting in producing test plans and schedules & assisting informal and formal cyber security testing.
- Supporting engineering gated reviews and design assurance activities.
- Assisting with production of security artefacts such as risk registers, security assurance cases, plans and schedules. Provide security input into related engineering documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM or Information Security related subject.
- Experience working in a Product/System Engineering or IT operational environment.
- Experience working to define and/or implement risk mitigations and controls.
- Experience working within a wider risk management programme in line with industry good practice (NIST, ISO).
- Experience of product development activities in the defence, maritime, nuclear or other regulated domains.
- Experience of delivering security Risk Management documentation in accordance with MOD Policies and regulations.

About the Role: The Engineering Delivery team designs, builds, integrates and provides through life support to all the Submarine Platforms in the Royal Naval fleet.
