Job Title: Repair Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Repair Operations Coordinator to join our team at Fortus Recruitment Group Limited. As a Repair Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient operations in social housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee incoming calls on the system
  • Organize and manage operatives' schedules effectively
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the team
  • Plan repairs and maintenance tasks, assigning them to the appropriate operatives based on their skill sets and locations
  • Maintain communication with operatives, tenants, and clients to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure worksheets are received, verified, and accurately managed
  • Strive to meet individual and client-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Handle both council and private housing contracts, scheduling routine, essential, and emergency maintenance work
  • Monitor jobs from initiation to completion
  • Collaborate with in-house and third-party engineers and tradesmen to plan logistics and manage schedules
  • Coordinate with external supply companies to ensure material availability
  • Ensure tradespeople are present and tasks are completed according to agreed timelines
  • Work efficiently in a demanding environment, fostering collaboration among key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and trades
