Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Process Chemist or Chemistry graduate to join our team as a Laboratory Technician. In this role, you will assist the Senior Process Chemist in the analyses, control, and maintenance of all wet processes/chemistry, working on various shifts and maintaining a high level of detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Senior Process Chemist in the analyses, control, and maintenance of all wet processes/chemistry
  • Maintaining machinery and equipment in accordance with the maintenance schedule
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements for water and chemical waste treatment
  • Using documentation control systems – paper and electronic
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a Chemist's role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or another Chemistry-based qualification
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a Night Shift role
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
