Maths Teacher Job in Gateshead

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at a supportive and dynamic secondary school in Gateshead. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real difference in students' lives.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and the ability to differentiate lessons for various abilities. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality maths lessons, establishing a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with experienced staff to improve teaching techniques.

  • Deliver effective maths lessons to students.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm for mathematics.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to departmental initiatives.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them build their confidence and understanding in mathematics.

About the Role:

This is a daily supply/long-term, part-time/full-time contract position. The salary range is £87 - £108 per day, depending on experience. As an ethical and inclusive recruitment agency, we offer equal opportunities to applicants from all members of the community.

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  • Strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and the ability to differentiate lessons for various abilities.
