">Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marine Ecologist to join our team as an Associate Director Ecologist, supporting the delivery of high-profile marine projects across the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, from habitat restoration studies to floating offshore wind schemes.

">Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver High-Quality Work: As a senior member of our marine ecology team, you will deliver high-quality marine ecology impact assessments, ensuring compliance with our rigorous quality management procedures.
  • Lead Multidisciplinary Teams: You will work collaboratively with specialists in underwater acoustics, coastal processes, water scientists, and marine archaeologists to improve environmental outcomes.
  • Manage Projects: You will effectively manage resources and budgets, making use of your project management skills to support project delivery.
  • Mentor Junior Staff: You will play a key role in developing and training more junior members of the team.

This role requires a strong understanding of marine ecological principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have a recognised degree in a relevant discipline and professional membership (CIEEM or similar), we encourage you to apply.
