Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal EIA Consultant to join our dynamic team at Tetra Tech. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing the EIA process for various projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

In this role, you will lead and oversee the EIA process for multiple projects, coordinating with project teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors to gather necessary data and information. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing project plans and programmes, as well as conducting comprehensive and robust assessments of potential environmental, social, and economic impacts associated with proposed projects.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including flexible working hours, volunteer days, and birthday holiday. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the EIA process for multiple projects
• Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors
• Develop and implement project plans and programmes
• Conduct comprehensive and robust assessments of potential environmental, social, and economic impacts
• Present findings and recommendations to clients, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Ecology, or a related field
• Extensive experience in conducting and managing EIA across a range of projects within a consultancy, development company, or similar organisation
• Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines related to EIA processes and compliance
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks
• Professional membership of an appropriate body (preferably Institute of Environmental Impact Assessment) or eligibility to become a member
