Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Coordinator based in the UK to join our team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our organisation's financial sustainability and ensuring we maintain good governance practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Management: Develop and maintain robust financial models to inform decision-making processes and ensure financially responsible planning and budgeting.
  • Grant Management: Manage and monitor staff time requirements for project grants, including timesheets and trackers, to ensure regular completion in line with funder's terms and conditions.
  • Cash Flow Analysis: Deliver accurate cash flow analysis and oversee the financial health of the organisation, providing regular forecasts and planning data in line with changing needs.
  • Financial Reporting: Interpret and present financial analysis to Senior Managers and Board Members to ensure the financial impact of operational activities is planned, understood, and evaluated in relation to agreed budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Funding Knowledge: Have good knowledge of financial accounting and management software, experience developing budgets and cash flow analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Be fluent in spoken and written English, organised and self-motivated, able to work without day-to-day supervision.
  • Cultural Competence: Knowledge of climate finance and fluency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese would be beneficial.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Please note that the contract will run until 31 March 2026, with a possibility of a three-month extension.
