Essex County Council is seeking an experienced community care professional to join our specialist mental health support team as a senior social worker.

As a member of the Recovery Wellbeing Community Mental Health Team, you will play a key part in providing high-quality social care services and exemplar social work practice.

With a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, you will contribute to change management and ensure the department is configured for continuous improvement.

">

The ideal candidate will be a qualified social worker with a current Social Work England registration, bringing experience of mental health and multi-disciplinary team working along with sound knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Care Act.

As part of employment with Essex County Council, you will be required to register with the DBS update service and have access to our award-winning Essex Social Care Academy.
