Rotational Orthopaedic Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join our Rotational Orthopaedic team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a senior rotational physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with a range of orthopaedic conditions, including trauma, elective, and specialist femoral fracture unit patients.
Main Responsibilities- Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with complex presentations and co-existing pathologies.
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient goals, preferences, and clinical evidence.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including physiotherapy assistants and students.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a physiotherapist.
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Relevant post-registration experience as a physiotherapist (18 months+).
- Evidence of student or physiotherapy assistant supervision.
- Evidence of working in a team environment.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) documented.
