Job Summary

A vacancy has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist to join our team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a Rotational Orthopaedic Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical areas, including trauma, elective, and specialist femoral fracture units.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with complex and diverse presentations.
  • To develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, taking into account the patient's goals, needs, and preferences.
  • To work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and optimal outcomes.
  • To supervise and coordinate the work of junior staff, students, and support staff.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Health Care Professions Council Registration
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, or equivalent
  • Member Chartered Society Physiotherapy
  • Relevant post-registration experience as a physiotherapist (18 months +)
  • Evidence of student or physiotherapy assistant supervision
