About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the Bury St Edmunds area. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the site operations, completing mechanical and electrical maintenance to plant machinery and site services, and responding to breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing engineering support to the site operations
- Completing mechanical and electrical maintenance to plant machinery and site services
- Responding to breakdowns and resolving issues using engineering experience and qualifications
- Following the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) work schedule
- Working collaboratively as part of an engineering team
Requirements:
We are looking for an apprentice-trained or qualified engineer with experience in FMCG, beverage, malting, or food manufacturing. You should have relevant mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications and experience working in a similar role, such as Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Engineering Technician, or Multi-skilled Engineer.
