Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced simulation professional to join our Consultancy team at IES. As a key member of our international team, you will work closely with top IESVE modellers to deliver high-profile projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for meeting clients to establish project requirements, running simulations of building and mechanical system design alternatives, and advising clients on the results of those simulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement energy modeling strategies for common UK building types (healthcare, commercial, educational)
  • Utilize IES Virtual Environment to create detailed building models and simulate energy performance
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Communicate complex simulation results to clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with UK building regulations and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Degree-level education in a relevant discipline (architecture, engineering, etc.)
  • Proven experience using IES Virtual Environment and energy modeling software
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards (Part L Section 6, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
