Water Project Specialist

As a Water Project Specialist, you will be joining a leading water and wastewater specialist contractor with offices throughout the UK and Ireland. Based in the Northern Ireland office, you will be part of a team working on a variety of water projects, including new installations, refurbishments, and upgrades. Your role will involve technical management of on-site activities, overseeing planning and programming, liaising with the design team, and ensuring satisfactory design, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, environmental policies, QMS, customer requirements, and general duty of care.
  • Monitor progress with respect to cost and quality, prepare progress reports for presentation to the Contracts Manager, and attend site progress meetings and value engineering workshops.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the water industry and its challenges, with a desire to work on projects that improve water quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and contribute to the company's growth and success.
