As a MEICA Project Engineer, you will be joining a leading water and wastewater specialist contractor with offices throughout the UK and Ireland. Based in the Northern Ireland office, you will be part of a team working on a variety of water projects, including new installations, refurbishments, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical management of on-site activities
- Oversee planning and programming
- Liaise with design teams and site installation works
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental policies, QMS, customer requirements, and general duty of care
- Monitor progress with respect to cost and quality
- Prepare progress reports for presentation to the Contracts Manager
- Attend site progress meetings, value engineering workshops, and other relevant events
- Industry-applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or equivalent third-level qualification
- Desire to work within the wastewater or water industry
- Commercial and contractual awareness
- Good IT skills, including MS Project, Word, and Excel
- CAD experience is advantageous
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Negotiable salary depending on experience
