Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Ocean Department in Scotland, handling both imports and exports of FCL and LCL freight movements. The ideal candidate will have a background in global freight and logistics, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with internal and external customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaising effectively between various departments, including customs and logistics teams.
  • Preparing export documentation for packages, including customs clearance and compliance.
  • Investigating and reporting on query resolution, meeting set targets and daily tasks.

Requirements

  • Ocean import and export experience, with knowledge of LCL, FCL, and cross-trade operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with experience in import/export documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet departmental KPIs.
