About the Role

Richmond Talking Therapies is seeking two enthusiastic and motivated High Intensity CBT Therapists to join our dynamic and innovative service on a fixed-term contract. The posts can be hybrid or fully remote, as long as you can travel to our base when required for IT needs.

We are part of South West London & St George's NHS Trust, one of the top-rated Talking Therapies services in London, offering stepped-care, evidence-based interventions at steps 2 and 3. We are proud to provide high-quality care for those with mental ill-health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of high quality, Step 3 CBT (face to face/online, group/individual) interventions for clients presenting with mild to moderate anxiety disorders and depression-related problems
  • Carrying out telephone, virtual online and face-to-face assessments
  • Working with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters where necessary

Requirements

  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology or equivalent
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment within an NHS Talking Therapies service
  • Experience of assessment and treatment of common mental health problems using evidence based psychological therapies

Desirable

  • Post-qualification experience in primary care settings
  • Experience in running Step 3 therapy groups
  • Experience of psychological therapy assessment and treatment across a range of care settings
