About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Progress Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, promoting their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Support students with a range of needs, including those with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that students receive a tailored and engaging educational experience.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students at Primary School age.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning needs.
