Experienced SEN Tutor

At Targeted Provision Ltd, we are committed to providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and passionate SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition to young people with a range of learning needs, including Maths, English, and Science. As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with our team of SEN Support Specialists to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs and advance the educational and social-emotional journey of each student
- Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on student progress
- Work collaboratively with our SEN Support Team to ensure the success of each placement
Requirements
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online assignments
