Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including 26 days' annual leave, private medical insurance, life assurance, and a company pension scheme matched up to 8%.

Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the management of costs relating to construction projects. You will be responsible for calculating the amount and cost of materials needed for building work and managing the financial aspects of projects. Your tasks will include:

  • Preparing and managing all costs from initial assessments through to project completion
  • Selecting and managing suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Ensuring that payments are made on time and in accordance with contractual agreements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* - C (4-9) in Maths, English Language and Science
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to learn sophisticated design and costing IT packages
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and write clear reports
