Job Title: Recruitment Executive

The role of a Recruitment Executive involves working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and requirements. This includes advertising and attracting candidates through various channels to fill vacancies within a given timeframe. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate candidate records and performing other recruitment-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process all internal and external applications, ensuring they are logged onto the database within 24 working hours of receipt.
  • Forward shortlisted applications to the recruiting manager or Regional Sales Manager.
  • Arrange interviews for shortlisted applicants.
  • Ensure interview notes and feedback are received from the recruiting manager within given timescales.
  • Communicate the outcome of interviews to applicants.
  • Process job vacancy requests, ensuring they are advertised on relevant job boards.
  • Arrange induction for new starters, ensuring all relevant departments are kept up to date with progress.
  • Process incoming and outgoing post.
  • Assist with recruitment activity, apprentice assessment days, and promotional events.

Competencies/Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication skills in all forms and the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
  • At least 1 year's experience working in a Recruitment position.
  • Positive attitude to dealing with people.
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Efficient administration of the recruitment process.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
