About the Role

The T Level Examiner role is an excellent opportunity to utilize your subject expertise and contribute to the development of the next generation of digital professionals. You will be responsible for marking candidate responses in accordance with a pre-defined mark scheme, adhering to the Code of Practice and published examination procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
  • Ensure all administration is completed as specified.
  • Attend standardisation events.
  • Regularly mark scripts during the assessment period.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent work-based qualification in computing, computer science, or software development.
  • Full conversance with languages in the specification, such as Python or C-based languages.
  • Experience in teaching and assessment, or recent occupational experience in a relevant field.
  • A high level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
