We are seeking a skilled Relief Chef to join our team at WSH Group. As a Relief Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, ensuring food safety and quality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all team members and assist/support colleagues as needed.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience working in a similar role, such as a Commis Chef.
- Culinary Knowledge: Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Food Safety: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
