About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy services across the team, including assessment and treatment planning for patients referred.
  • Participate in developing and monitoring the service, ensuring that it meets the needs of our patients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and other professionals to ensure seamless patient care and develop good working relationships with statutory, voluntary, and independent organizations and agencies.
  • Actively participate in audit, service progression, and role development, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience of acute working (desirable)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience of carrying out audit (desirable)
