NHS Professionals have an exciting opportunity for a Dermatologist Consultant to work with us at Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre and/or Kingsgate House in Stockport in Dermatology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with dermatological conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, acne, dermatitis, infections, and rare skin diseases.
  • Perform skin surgeries, including excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and other dermatological procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using a combination of medical therapies, surgical interventions, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Manage complex cases and provide second opinions on challenging diagnoses or treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families about dermatological conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Engage in shared decision-making with patients, ensuring they are fully informed about their condition and treatment choices.

Details about the Role:

  • Speciality: Dermatology
  • Location: Stockport
  • Days per week: Monday-Friday 09:00 - 17:00 - No on-call or weekend work required.
  • Shift pattern: Full time
  • Hours per week: 40 hours available
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Rate of pay: Negotiable
  • Payment method: PAYE; we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies.

About You:

  • Valid GMC
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clinical attachment complete – We do not offer placements in the NHS
  • Minimum of 3-6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
