Opportunity for a Dermatologist Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Dermatologist Consultant to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with dermatological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with dermatological conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, acne, dermatitis, infections, and rare skin diseases.
  • Perform skin surgeries, including excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and other dermatological procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using a combination of medical therapies, surgical interventions, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Manage complex cases and provide second opinions on challenging diagnoses or treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families about dermatological conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Engage in shared decision-making with patients, ensuring they are fully informed about their condition and treatment choices.

Requirements:

  • Valid GMC
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clinical attachment complete
  • Minimum of 3-6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
