Job Summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and versatile maintenance professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient maintenance services, including planned preventative maintenance, repairs, alterations, testing, and installations of engineering services, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Work on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including Air Handling Units and commercial heating systems.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, ensuring that the Trust's vision and values are maintained at all times.
  • Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Legionella, Electrical Safety Policy, Asbestos, and Permit to Work Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a focus on Air Handling Units and commercial heating systems.
  • Multi-skilled ability, with a willingness to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
