Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Tradesperson to join our Maintenance Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality, flexible, and proactive customer-oriented service in the maintenance of our engineering services, equipment, and fixtures.

Main Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have experience in Air Handling Units, Motors, Bearings, and commercial/industrial heating systems. They will be able to work safely and effectively outside their core skill as an electrically biased engineer, possessing a multi-skilled ability to carry out a wide range of tasks. Skilled fault finding is required, often in circumstances where limited initial information is provided.

Key Requirements

The successful applicant must have experience with Air Handling Units and commercial heating systems and pipework. They will contribute to the development of the service, ensuring that the Trust's Visions and Values are maintained at all times, focusing on engineering excellence, integrity, and support for the wider team.

Working Pattern

This role includes working hours over a 5-day period (Monday to Friday) and being part of the on-call engineering team, attending out-of-hours emergency faults when it is your week on the rota.
