Therapeutic Intervention Professional

MCG Healthcare invites applications for a Therapeutic Intervention Professional to join our Integrated Care Team.

About the Role
  • Design and implement comprehensive care plans, addressing the occupational needs and goals of patients.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, empowering them to take control of their lives.
Responsibilities

Educate patients, families, and carers on strategies to manage daily living activities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery, leveraging expertise and knowledge to drive positive change.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making data-driven decisions to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, upholding departmental standards and promoting transparency.

Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and contribute to service development initiatives, driving innovation and excellence.

Provide supervision and support to junior staff and students, fostering growth and development.

Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with HCPC, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Significant experience in a clinical setting, ideally within community or integrated care, showcasing ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this position in delivering exceptional patient care.
