Job Summary
Exceeding Expectations in Childcare
Coleg Cambria is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our team at the Toy Box Nursery based at our Deeside site. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the care and development of children, including their general health, welfare, safety, and basic physical development.
- Act as a key worker and assist with the organisation, planning, and preparation for meals, activities, rest times, cleaning, and laundry.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide a warm and friendly environment for our students.
Requirements
- Qualified to NNEB, BTEC, or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare Studies, with prior experience of working in a childcare establishment.
- Knowledge of child welfare issues and understanding of the importance of setting goals and objectives.
- Basic food hygiene and a first aid certificate would be preferable, although not essential as full training can be provided.
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and ability to work independently.
