HGV Technician

At Moran Logistics, we are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the roadworthiness of our fleet vehicles and maintaining service operations.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure fleet compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks, such as engine tune-ups and oil changes
• Verify vehicle serviceability through test drives and adjustments
• Comply with legal vehicle requirements and standards
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and reports

• Full UK driving license
• Relevant technical motor mechanic qualification
• Demonstrable understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures
• Full LGV license (advantageous)
• Good communication and listening skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure

This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern role, with the opportunity to work as part of a team and independently. Knowledge of R2C and experience with Daf/Scania/Volvo vehicles are desirable.
