Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon's Mechatronics Apprenticeship program as a Mechanical Systems Engineer. The role involves working in a variety of engineering disciplines, including electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Working alongside experienced technicians to develop expertise in areas like electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices and maintenance procedures
  • Applying knowledge and skills to installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment, fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues, planned and preventative maintenance activities, modifications, and upgrades to existing equipment
Requirements
  • UK national or non-UK national with the right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent): Maths, English, and a science/technology subject
