We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a Cost Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage commissions of varying sizes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of cost management services.
- Assist in feasibility studies, writing procurement reports, and estimating and cost planning.
- Conduct tendering and procuring activities, including managing pre-qualification stages and producing tender reports.
- Act as a contract administrator, dealing with post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
- Take personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects.
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients.
- Negotiate and agree final accounts.
- Interface with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages.
- Collaborate with Turner & Townsend's project management team during project delivery.
- Lead a cost management team, ensuring they deliver on all accountabilities.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle.
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar).
- Degree or HNC level qualification.
- Ability to work with autonomy, take initiative, and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Confident and professional manner.
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize own workload.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the business.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
