We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at Vetro Nursing, working in an impressive nursing home in Bridgend. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to patients with dementia and other health conditions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic care and support to residents, including personal care and manual handling equipment use. You will also implement care and treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for people with Dementia and other health conditions, with a commitment to improving the lives of patients and helping them lead their best quality of life.

Salary: £10,000 - £12,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic care and support to patients, including personal care and manual handling equipment use
  • Implement care and treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Offer companionship and support to residents, enhancing their overall well-being

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in healthcare, with a proven track record of working in care settings with EMI & Dementia
  • Manual handling equipment training provided by the provider
  • A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents
  • Right to work in the UK
