About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and planning mental health care interventions for patients
- Coordinating complex care packages and working with multidisciplinary teams
- Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
- Developing and implementing service development activities
- Facilitating learning and development within clinical practice
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A professional mental health qualification and current registration with a professional body
- Experience of working at a senior clinical position and managing budgets
- Excellent analytical and judgemental skills, with the ability to administer and interpret assessment tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders
