Casual School Exam Invigilator

We are committed to the safeguarding of children and all staff are expected to ensure that the academy is a safe and secure environment for our students. Candidates will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of all staff to recognise, respond and reflect in relation to all safeguarding disclosures/concerns in collaboration with the DSL/safeguarding team by operating within the guidelines of KCSIE and associated policies/guidance documents.
Key Safeguarding Expectations
All academy staff will ensure that they facilitate a whole school approach to safeguarding which means ensuring safeguarding and child protection are at the forefront and underpin all aspects of academy life.
- The Postholder will have contact with children.
Disclosure Requirements
It is the academy's policy to require all applicants for employment to disclose convictions or cautions (excluding youth cautions, reprimands or warnings) that are not protected as defined by the Ministry of Justice.
DBS Requirements
In addition, the job you are applying for is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020) which requires you to disclose all spent convictions and cautions except those which are protected under Police Act 1997 – Part V and the amendments to the exceptions order1975 (2013 and 2020) and are not subject to disclosure to employers on DBS certificates and cannot be taken into account.

Remuneration
The hourly rate for this position is £10.98.
