Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Awerian, a leading research and development consultancy. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge hardware solutions for our clients in the defence and homeland security sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware solutions using a range of technologies, including circuit design and schematic capture.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to develop system architecture, interfaces, and hardware procurement.
  • Work on systems integration and harmonising conflicting system requirements using expert knowledge of component capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in a field such as electronics, computer science, or engineering.
  • Proven technical capabilities, including design and development of technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of interfacing to high and low speed peripherals, running simulations and testbenches, and performing hardware-level debugging.
  • Experience in two or more of the following areas: systems integration, circuit design, schematic capture, software engineering, or component procurement.
