Job Title: Resident Consultant



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Consultant to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients and providing clinical expertise in haematology.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Supervise the delivery of high-quality care by our junior doctors
  • Provide instruction and execute complex procedures to maintain our standards of excellence
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop new therapies and precision medication for cancer patients
  • Assume continuing responsibility for the clinical service and offer clinical expertise in the daily operations of the unit
  • Prescribe chemotherapy as per relevant clinical protocols
  • Coordinate the junior medical team to ensure continuity in patient care
  • Promote and lead relevant research projects on the unit and with the Sarah Cannon Research Institute


Requirements:




  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in supervising and teaching trainee physicians
  • Passionate about Haematology and Oncology Services
  • Role Model, able to lead a team through effective communication skills and influencing teaching skills
