Job Summary

The Technical Manager will be responsible for supporting the warehouse team and freelance crew, as well as the project management team, in a leading Audio Visual events production company. The ideal candidate will have technical experience in working with audio visual equipment for live events and corporate events, preferably in a rental company or production house.

About the Role

This is a warehouse-based role with some on-site travel to events if required. The Technical Manager will oversee the prepping and testing of equipment by the warehouse team, ensure that the rental equipment is kept in order and updated to current standards, and research and specify new technology and equipment for purchase. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the warehouse team and freelance crew in the preparation and testing of equipment
  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of rental equipment to current standards
  • Research and specify new technology and equipment for purchase
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to ensure smooth operations
