Job Title: Senior Democratic Services Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Democratic Services Officer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality democratic services.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and provide procedural guidance at a range of Committees and other elected Member bodies.
  • Support officers across the council and team members in relation to democratic service matters and projects.
  • Assist in the provision of support services to Members.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience in democratic services or a related field.

  • A competitive salary of £34,314 per annum plus £1,064 Local Weighting Allowance.
  • 26 days annual leave (rising to 30 days between 2-5 years' service and 33 days after 5 years' service).
