Healthcare Assistant

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a part-time, weekend basis. As a vital member of our care team, you will provide support and assistance to our clients with a range of personal care needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting Clients with Personal Care: You will assist our clients with daily living tasks, including washing, bathing, and toileting.
- Medication Administration: You will administer medication to clients in accordance with their individual needs and care plans.
- Meal Preparation and Domestic Support: You will prepare meals for clients where necessary and provide support with light domestic tasks.
- Companionship and Emotional Support: You will provide companionship and emotional support to all clients, promoting their dignity and well-being.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be honest, reliable, and trustworthy. You will also require good listening and communication skills, empathy for service users' situations, and a commitment to working as part of a team. A care certificate qualification is desirable but not essential.
